Greenleaf Ranch

….but the righteous will flourish like a green leaf.

Our family on a recent trip to Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada

About Us

We are a home schooling family of nine. Some of our interests, in addition to horses and dogs, are hunting, fishing, reading, scrapbooking, quilting and games. We love to read favorite books aloud, like the Little House books and Lord of the Rings. We also enjoy camping, when we can get away from the farm.

We enjoy trail rides, though we haven’t been able to do a lot of it in the last few years. Our kids show in 4-H and at breed shows. We are training our horses to drive and would like to try competitive trail rides and distance driving.

We live on 120 acres of woods and pastures in the Ozarks of south-central Missouri. We feel this exposure to the wind, weather, hills and gullies is a great first education for our horses. And the responsibilities of a farm and the pleasure of being close to nature is a wonderful experience for our children as well. We have been very blessed. Feel free to contact us with any questions you may have.
