Our brood mares have individually been carefully selected to form the foundation of our breeding program. Each mare has good conformation, a love of people and a willing, flexible attitude, as well as good bloodlines. We started by looking at lots of horses that we liked. Then we started exploring the bloodlines to see what those horses had in common. We are using the old Lippitt and Working Western Morgan lines. Our Arabian lines are mostly Polish. We have loved the wonderful athleticism of these horses. We “field test” our horses before bringing them home—if a horse doesn’t do well with seven kids running around and wanting to pet her, then she doesn’t make our cut. Our horses are then exposed to tractors, pigs, chickens, cattle and lots of room to run and develop good feet, legs and heart. If you would like to own a quality Morgan or Morab foal, you may select one we have for sale, buy “in-utero” (before birth) or use our Selection program. You select the mare and the stallion, pay cost of breeding and maintenance. The foal is then yours upon weaning. |
